This collection of photos was taken for a juxtaposition project in my color photography course. I was tasked with finding juxtaposition in everyday life, whether that be old versus new, man-made versus natural, or even with colors.
The idea behind my project was to focus on the juxtaposition of cold versus warm colors, mainly blue versus orange, my favorite pair of complementary colors. I did this by finding these two colors around me, rather than trying to recreate them artificially. All photos were taken around the city of Boston on a Nikon D3200 camera. Editing was done on Photoshop, utilizing Camera Raw and Adobe Bridge.
